 This is where your made runtime folder will show in this section when you add it

Above is the default Folder when you install Daz Studio you direct your content to "DAZ TUT"

I also have another showing that I am going to get rid of these two as I just want to add

 my "Paid" Runtime

 

All you do is Right click and go to above

 

This will pop up, Just Click Yes and they will be gone

TO ADD FOLDERS

There are a few ways you can do this, Add Manually or do a Search

Go to Daz Studio Formats and right-click. Click on Add a Base Directory

A pop-up will appear, Go to where your folder is
Above is where I have my Runtimes and I am Picking my Paid Runtime folder, Click Select Folder

 

Double-click on the Daz Studio Formats, this will then show my folder underneath

Do this also in the Poser Format Section

SEARCHING

Searching is a good way if you are a beginner to find the items you have installed on your

PC/External Drive

Go to Content Library, Then down to Search Drives (for files)

 This will pop up, I am going to scan 3 drives and see what appears, This may take a while

 

It has now finished searching and has picked up these Items, Click on Accept

 

 

These are now showing in The Poser formats,

(There has been none added in the Daz Studio formats, This needs to be added manually)

Content Directory Manager

 

Go to Content Library, Then down to Content Directory Manager

 

This will pop open, If you click on the + in Poser Formats it will open and  you will see the ones I have found, These can be moved up and down, and add or remove folders, Since I have it open I will  move things into place and delete folders I do not want

As you can see I have removed my Poser 6 folder and moved the others where I want them,

Click Accept when you are happy

 

In my Poser Formats section, I now have them where I want them

VIEWING

There are 3 ways you can view your Items, View as a List, View as a Tree, View Side by Side

 

My way is View side by side

 

To see the other way go to Content Libary, Right click then pick one of the 3 at the top

 

                             This is View as List                                        This is Vew as Tree

Pick one you like

SEARCHING 

 Looking for something and can't find it,You can use the search section

Here is your search bar which comes in handy if you want to find something it might find it 

 

It is on the Database, Change to File

 

 

I am going to look for Items belonging to "Cookie", Press the search button at the end

 

 This is what has came up on the search which you can find at the bottom
